Gobble Gobble

Happy Saturday! I finished another Thanksgiving card today. I love cardmaking while the football games are on TV. Instead of just listening though I'll probably actually stop and really watch Clemson play Florida State tonight. I used a digi stamp from Pink Cat Studio , colored it with Prismas and OMS, and used my favorite fall paper from Recollections.
I hope everyone is having a nice weekend. Go Tigers!

Happy Turkey Day Card

Good morning! I've been busy making cards for Thanksgiving with this great paper by Recollections. It's unusual for me to find a paper pad that
I love every sheet, but I think I will use every single piece in this one. It is double-sided and good quality paper. I made this card using the sketch from this week's Spoonful of Sugar challenge. The image is a Pink Cat Studio digi stamp here. I colored it with Prismas and OMS, but I think I'll try Copics on the next one so the colors will be brighter. The Pink Elephant challenge is to use brown, yellow, a neutral, and one other color . It is yet another challenge for me to combine challenges. If you haven't visited those blogs I think you'll love the cards posted by their Design Teams. I hope you have a great Thursday and thank you for visiting with me.

Cute Card and Mojo Monday Challenges

Happy Wednesday! My husband has gone fishing for the rest of the week so I have all week to work on my To Do List. So far I've finished this birthday card for the challenge over at Cute Card Thursday which was to make a card/project with a drink/cocktail theme. I got this digi image from Fresh Brewed Designs here (cute images!) and colored it with my Prisma pencils and OMS, used Glossy Accents on the cake frosting, yellow Stickles on the flame, and liquid applique on the whipped cream. The "flower" was cut with a Cuttlebug die once with the DP and glued it to one cut from thin chipboard to add dimension. I used the sketch from this week's Mojo Monday challenge. The paper is my favorite birthday paper from Imaginesce because I have the brads that match. Thank you for visiting here and now I'm going to start on all those things I've been
wanting to make. Have a wonderful day!

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Monday! I learned a lot making this little Thanksgiving card.
I sized everything with Design Studio and cut the card and frame with the card feature on Stretch Your Imagination. It was really easy, but my paper had a white core so it needed a lot of inking. Next time I'll use solid paper. "Happy Thanksgiving" was cut from Wild Card. I used my Cuttlebug to cut the leaves. I need to get some twine to use for the ribbon, too. I think I'll put this one in with my "samples" since I inked so much that the back is all messy. Anyway, it was fun. Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving comments.

Blog Candy on Going Buggy

Happy Sunday! I don't have a card ready to post today, but I did see a post on Going Buggy here for some generous blog candy that you will want a chance to win. Head over there and check it out! Today I'll be getting started on Thanksgiving cards. Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Spots and Stripes Papertake Weekly Challenge

Happy Rainy Tuesday! The challenge this week at Papertake Weekly is called Spots and Stripes. I just got this little penguin digi image from Pink Cat Studio here and thought he'd be perfect for this. I used my Prisma pencils and OMS to color him, added some Glossy Accents to his candy cane, and put liquid applique on the fur. The paper is from last year's Martha Stewart Christmas paper. The sentiment is computer generated. I've finished two Christmas cards now!

Cute Card Thursday and Just Magnolia Challenges

I didn't realize that I hadn't posted anything at all last week. Anyway, I have now made my first Christmas card for this year. Over at Cute Card Thursday the challenge is to make a candy/sweet themed card. I got this 60's Tilda stamp from 7 Kids College Fund a while back and thought she'd be perfect for it. I colored her with Copics and added pink stickles to her lollipop, rain dot hearts, and pink pearls on the snowflakes. I used the sketch from the Just Magnolia Challenge. I liked this Christmas paper from Hobby Lobby with the pastel colors. The pink is Bazzill Dotted Swiss which I love. I sprayed the whole thing with Shimmerz Spritz "Baby's Breath" so it has a nice shimmer, but it doesn't show in the picture. I am pretty happy with this one. Check out both of these challenges. The DT teams have some beautiful things posted and
thank you for visiting here!
