Peachy Keen Merry Christmas Snow Friend

Hi Everyone! I made this cute little snowfriend with the new Cricut Snowfriends cart. If you like snowmen you will love this cart. The Peachy Keen challenge here is to use any Peachy Keen face stamp. I used one of the winter faces available here for this one. I see that Peachy Keen is having a great sale through the weekend so you may want to check that out, too. Since I cut this little guy so big I had to put him on 6x6 card and there still wasn't much room for anything else. I added a red checked wagon (the checks don't really show up in the pic) cut from Paper Doll Dress Up and filled it with snowballs hand cut from glitter paper. The flocked paper is from last year's Making Memories stack I think. The snowflake is cut with a Cuttlebug die. The snow is embossed with the Divine Swirls folder and both are stickled with Crystal Stickles. The sentiment is printed from my Polkadoodles CD available here. The challenge over at 2 Red Bananas is to make a Christmas/Winter card. Their DT made some great cards and there is a precious image for the winner. Thank you for visiting here. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Brown and Pink or Blue Challenge

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Over at A Spoonful of Sugar the challenge this week is use brown with blue or pink. I made this Get Well Card with a Stampavie stamp called Ruffles Get Well Soon that I just got from 7 Kids College Fund here. One of my daughter's friends has a broken leg and I thought this was perfect for her. The flowered paper is from Making Memories "Chloe's Closet" collection. The blue is Bazzill's Dotted Swiss.
I colored him with Copics. I'm still not that great with shadowing and highlighting, but I keep practicing. Have a great weekend and please come back again!

Chef Tilda Loves Chocolate

Happy Friday! I got Chef Tilda and this Chocolate stamp a while back and decided to make a birthday card for a friend who loves to cook. The paper is from DCWV's Sweet Stack. I colored her with Copics, but forgot to put some Glossy Accents on her shoes. I'll go back and do that later. I had some Chocolate scented embossing powder that I used for the stamp. It smells great now, but I don't know how long that will last, but it does make it look shiny. The swirls are Thickers that I found for $1.00 at Big Lots. The aqua pearls are Recollections brand from Michael's. The flowers are Primas . Hope everyone has a nice weekend and please come back!

Tutu Cute for Cupcake Craft Challenge

Thank you for being here! I can't believe it's Wednesday already. I feel like I've really been busy but I sure don't have much to show for it. I made this card using a digital image for the challenge over at
Cupcake Craft Challenge. I love this image called Tu-Tu Cute fromMo's Digital Pencil.I colored it with copics. The colors look better in real life, but I need to get some more pink shades. The paper is DCWV's Baby Girl Nursery paper. I love that paper! The charm is from Hobby Lobby. I used a clear glitter pen on the stars and tutus. I cut the corners with an EK Success punch. I hope you like it. Have a great day and please come back !

Thanksgiving Invitations

Happy Sunday! Yesterday my daughter came over and we made these invitations. She's having Thanksgiving dinner at her house for her in-laws. Yikes! We made 12 variations of the ones in the photo. Many thanks to Kelly here for sharing the precious images. We used the Cuttlebug and Nestablities circles and scalloped circles for all the cutting. I first saw them on Sharon's blog. They are super easy to do. Hope you are enjoying your weekend and please come back!

House Mouse "Smile"!

It's Wednesday already! Thank you for stopping in to see the card I made for this week's House Mouse Challenge. The challenge was to use some or all of these:
Colour theme - Brown and Cream
Spotty/patterned paper
Brown Ribbon
Silver thread
Charm
Stamped image
Sentiment
Swirl die-cut (or something similar)
Embossed card (brown or cream or both)
Pearls (or diamontes)

I had this little image for the MCPT (Magic Colored Pencil Technique) challenge on the Cricut Message Board. I did use brown and cream, patterned paper (Martha Stewart's Golden Woodland from last year),
a HM stamped image, the sentiment "Smile" from Walk in My Garden(cut twice and then a shadow and layered), and the brown strip was embossed with the Moraccan Cuttlebug folder. I didn't have any silver thread so the stitching is brown. Does jute count as brown ribbon? The "swiss cheese" strip is an EK Success border punch. I hope you like it and thank you for stopping here. I love reading your comments!

"Cow-nt" Your Blessings"

Happy Sunday! I hope everyone is having a nice weekend. I've worked on this card off and on for a few days and finally got it finished. First I have to thank Sharon at Gramma's House of Cards here for the inspiration for this one. It seems that she and I both love the cow on Paper Doll Dress Up and she was so nice about sharing the idea for the cow and the word play "cownt". If you haven't seen her work I think you will love it.

Here's the recipe:
Card: 6x6
Grass: embossed with old Fiskar's plate in my Cuttlebug
Cow: Paper Doll Dress Up (about 3 1/4" on DS)
Thought bubble: Paper Pups
Fence: Paper Doll Dress Up ( about 1" on DS)
Barn: Everyday Paper Dolls (about 3 1/2" on DS)
Sun: Everyday Paper Dolls (about 1 1/2" on DS)
Turkey: My Community (about 1 1/2" on DS)
Hay: Martha Stewart punch
Sentiments: Computer generated.
The inside says "Happy Thanksgiving! Hope it takes a long time to "cownt all your blessings!"
I hope you like it. It was a lot of fun to make and I think my parents will love it. Thanks again Sharon!!!!
The Spoonful of Sugar Tuesday challenge this week is to create a scene. I posted this on Sunday and hope I'm not stretching the rules by submitting this one. There are some great cards posted by their DT if you have a chance to hop over there.
